Whether it's the 2013 Ford Focus selling like hotcakes or our favorite automaker breaking barriers in the name of progress, 2013 has been a pretty big year for us here at Lewis Ford. Oh yes, there's been no shortage of things to celebrate, and now that the Q1 sales numbers have finally arrived, we could just about bear hug our new and used cars.

Take it from us here at Lewis Ford, folks: the auto industry can be a cutthroat place. With so many automakers trying to climb their way to the top, it isn't often that we hear about them collaborating on new and used cars. It makes sense, but it's still too bad. Then again, there are exceptions to every rule, and every once in a while, rivals can become allies.

By and large, we here at Lewis Ford think of compromise as a good thing. Without it, our society wouldn't be where it is today, and anyone who's ever been married can tell you that it's the cornerstone to a healthy relationship. Then again, it's natural to have your cake and want to eat it, too. After all, that's just the way it goes with the new and used cars at our dealership.

We don't know what's gotten into us lately here at Lewis Ford, but for reasons beyond our understanding, we just can't stop talking about the 2013 Ford Fusion. You'd think with such a fabulous lineup of new and used cars at our dealership that we'd at least have less of a one-track mind when it comes to these things. Then again, that Fusion keeps giving us reasons to celebrate.

These days, everyone seems to be looking for a new way to cut back on their carbon footprint. Whether it's recycling your plastics, biking to work, or trading in your gas guzzler for one of the fuel-efficient new or used cars here at Lewis Ford, every little bit helps when it comes to saving our planet. Well in an effort to jump on the eco-friendly bandwagon even more than they already are, our favorite automaker has recently set some mighty ambitious goals for itself over the next few years.

Just the other week, we here at Lewis Ford told you all about the 2014 Ford Fiesta ST and its recent selection as the stock car for Ford Global RallyCross's 2013 season. Being big fans of the 2013 Ford Fiesta at our dealership, we couldn't help but agree with their decision (not that any of our new and used car models wouldn't have garnered the same reaction). But just in case that wasn't enough to whet the appetites of all you NASCAR junkies out there, have we got some news for you.

Not too long ago, we here at Lewis Ford told you all the exciting news that the new Ford Fiesta ST would be making its way to American dealerships this summer. If this all coming as news, then it's high time you started following our blog, friend. Who knows what kind of new and used car news you're going to miss out on! Anyhow, we were pretty excited about it, and if you too are just chomping at the bit to see the 2014 Ford Fiesta in action, well do we have some news for you.

Folks, if you missed the action at the Barrett-Jackson car auction this past week in Scottsdale, AZ, you sure missed a doozie. As for us here at Lewis Ford, this is the kind of stuff we live for. For Pete's sake, it's filthy rich collectors spending more money than we can fathom on a slew of rare and new cars that we can only dream about riding in, let alone owning. Why wouldn't you tune in? And the best part of it all? 100% of the proceeds go to charities.

Wouldn't it be great if every time you opened your garage a brand new hotrod awaited you? Don't need to worry about gas because the tank's always full, and you can drive it as fast as you want because there's no real-world repercussions to consider? "Great" is an understatement in a world like that, and when you spend all day around new and used cars like we do here at Lewis Ford, it's a world we often dream about. Maybe that's why we play so much Forza Horizon when we get home.
